Kenya--Shawn

As we were leaving the airport on Saturday night, no one knew what the next few days were going to be like. After the first nine and a half hour flight (in which I got no sleep) we landed in Amsterdam. We had a 5-6 hours layover there, and then boarded a plane for another eight and a half hour flight. We then landed in Nairobi, and managed to gather all of our baggage in the midst of complete chaos. We transferred to their smaller airport, and took our last 40 minute flight to Mombasa, where we were greeted by a large number of students. It was an unforgettable journey.
